Our next chapter meeting will be August 11, starting at 7:00 PM in a conference room at the OKC Aviation Metro-Tech Building at 5600 S. MacArthur Blvd, OKC.
PROGRAM
Unsure about the program, but I’m sure it will be a good one. Plus I’m sure that we will have a report from someone who attended Air Adventure.
SHAWNEE FLYING BREAKFAST
The attendees owe a big thanks to Jim Hunt of Chapter 1098, his family and all the volunteers who through their hard work made this fly-in a huge success. We had 28 or 29 airplanes and one gyrocopter that flew in to the airport. One pilot flew in from Arkansas in the most photographed airplane in the USA. Many of the other attendees drove into the event.
YOUNG EAGLE EVENTS
We have a Y/E event coming up September 12 at Clinton Regional Airport. We need pilots and ground crew. If you are interested, contact our Young Eagle Coordinator, Pat Cohenour
